Today I want to share with you some information about three of the illustrate my own - Unknown Bible Hero books . . . Enoch, Jehoshaphat, and Moses. Each of these books shares the true account of how God worked in the lives of these real people - and will help readers learn how God will work in their real lives, too!
So, what will these three people teach? Enoch knew something very, very important. Actually, Enoch knew Someone very, very important! And he knew this Very, Very Important Someone very, very well . . . so well it changed his life in a way no one else’s life has ever been changed! You will come to learn who Enoch was and will remember the important lesson he had to teach us all about how we can really talk, know, and actually walk with God!
Jehoshaphat knew something very, very important. He knew he could talk with God at all times . . . even when an army way bigger than his was on its way to fight his army . . . which was way smaller. As you learn about Jehoshaphat you will remember the important lesson he had to teach us all about how we are able to talk with God . . . no matter what!
Moses knew something very, very important. Moses knew when he wasn’t eaten by crocodiles and when the bush didn’t burn up, trusting and obeying God was always the best thing to do . . . even when you found snakes in your morning manna flakes! As you learn about Moses you will come to learn who Moses was and will remember the important lesson he taught about how trusting and obeying God is always the best choice, even when others think God’s plan couldn’t possibly work!
In each of these “illustrate my own – Unknown Bible Hero” books, you will have the opportunity to show your creativity and provide the illustrations making this book truly your own! More importantly, as you decide how to illustrate your book and talk through (or think through) the point of these accounts, you will come to see how you are able to know God and trust Him just as these people did!
